Cutting Options in Brady Workstation
Direct Print Models: Brady Workstation - Direct Print Compatibility.
Cut options are configured from the Print Settings menu. This menu appears when end users click the "print" icon from within their label creation application.
- Create your label and select Print.
- Select Advanced Settings.
Note: If the printer is not networked or connected to the computer, you cannot select Advanced Settings.
- Select the Cutting Options. The Cutting Options will vary depending on the capability of the printer.
Note: If there is a checkbox for Use Printer Settings, this may override the settings on the printer. If Use Printer Settings is checked, cut options will be determined by what is set on the printer. If Use Printer Settings is unchecked, cut options will be determined by what is selected in Brady Workstation.
Important: If Cut At End of Label is not selectable, it is because the label is not at least 0.6" long. If label length or auto-calculated length is 0.5" or less, it will not allow you to cut after label, only at End of Job. This is because of the distance from the printhead to the cutter. If 0.5" or less, the cut label might fall into the printer, which might cause printer jams or causing user to try to get the printed label which or may result in damage to the printer.
