Important: Always keep the printer plugged in and turned on. The printer will do periodic maintenance to help avoid the printheads from getting clogged.
DO NOT use any cleaners, alcohols, or other solvents on the printheads. You may need to clean the ink cartridge printheads if you notice reduced print quality.
If the print quality is still an issue, a cartridge printhead may be slightly dried out or clogged. Continue the cleaning instructions below and repeat if needed.
Dust can build up on the Label Tension Sensor over time resulting in errors because the printer cannot detect the labels or position of the labels. Keep the label cover closed at all times to help avoid this.
Open the label cover and remove the label roll.
Use a can of compressed air to blow dust away from the Label Tension Sensor.
