R 3.41 - August 2026
New Features and Enhancements
-
Supports upcoming i3311 and i5311 printers.
-
Adds RFID encoding for the upcoming i7500 RFID printer.
-
New GS1 Barcode Builder wizard makes entering Application Identifier (AI) values easy.
-
Supports GS1-128, GS1-DataMatrix, and GS1-QR codes.
-
Select AIs from a list.
-
Add data by importing, creating a sequence, setting up date and time values, or combining values from other objects on the label.
-
Validate barcode values.
-
Display human readable text including AI numbers, spaces, and parenthesis, but this formatting does not become part of the barcode value.
-
Barcode sizing improvements:
-
Likely minimum and maximum barcode values are provided by default.
-
Barcode sizing is checked against minimum and maximum values when importing data.
-
Flexible barcode sizing option removes density (X dimension) restrictions based on the DPI of the printer.
-
New setting for linear barcodes determines how many characters of data are encoded per inch (or mm) of barcode length.
-
Density setting renamed “X dimension” to align with standard terminology.
-
Set the error correction level for QR codes.
Issues Fixed
-
In some circumstances an unexpected error would occur when printing to a networked i7500 printer.
-
Counters were not placed on all labels until after viewing the print preview.
-
Barcode was not sizing to the full width of the label. Now you can set a minimum X dimension.
-
Barcode density (X dimension) could only be set to certain incremental values in order to assure barcode quality based on the printer’s DPI. New “Allow flexible barcode sizing” option overrides this restriction.
-
Selecting label part BM-187-1-312-YL (yellow) and then changing the color to white did not change the label supply.
-
On an i3300 printer with part number B30-244-595-NFPA, the actual print did not match the print preview.
-
A GS1 Datamatrix barcode created using Combine Fields had a control character that did not conform to standard.
-
After opening an existing template with a continuous label supply, the length displayed on the Document tab would change after selecting a text object.
-
Double-sided printing on two-sided slit sleeves did not match the preview.
-
New GS1 Barcode Builder solves an issue for GS1 Datamatrix barcodes in which the software did not ignore the Application Identifier values in parenthesis when creating the barcode.

R 3.37 - May 2025
New Features and Enhancements
-
Supports new i7500 peel and internal rewind options.
-
Files with graphics that are stored on the printer will load and print faster.
-
Improved performance when printing multiple copies of labels on an i7500 printer.
Bugs
-
Could not print to A6500 and A6200 printers over a network.
-
On small labels, sometimes adding linear barcode data using Sequence, Counters, Advanced Import, Excel Import or Combined Fields resulted in a barcode too large for the label.
-
When editing a very large label file (7000 labels, for example) with linked objects, the software appeared to stop responding.
-
When using a template created in Custom Designer, if a placeholder was left blank, the name of the placeholder object was used instead.
-
When printing on an M610 printer with label supply M6C-23-412, the print was in the wrong place on the label.
-
If you imported from Microsoft Excel, rotated the object 180°and then selected a Center option from the Arrange menu, the object was not centered correctly on all labels in the file.
-
If you had a Datamatrix barcode object linked on multiple labels for a 300 dpi i7500 printer and then installed a 600 dpi printhead, scaling the Datamatrix object on one label would not propagate to all the other labels.
-
Barcodes placed by importing data from Microsoft Excel did not always resize and reposition the same on all labels even with “Same as all in Set” selected.
-
On an M511 printer, setting the number of copies for each label in the editor (in multiple label view) displayed correctly in print preview, but only printed 1 copy of each label.
-
Advanced Import remained in trial mode after activating Custom Designer.
-
Printing was shifted on a tag when printed on a J7300 printer with the driver installed.
-
Printing appeared in the wrong location on some THT label supplies with an i7500 printer.
R 3.36 - March 2025
New Features and Enhancements
-
Supports new i6100 printer.
-
For i7500 printers, the software detects whether a 300 or 600 dpi printhead is installed and prints accordingly.
R 3.35 - November 26, 2024
New Features and Enhancements
- Supports new PA1100 and PA1300 printers.
- Add a background fill to labels on the J7300 printer. Labels with multiple zones can have different background fill colors for different zones.
- For J7300 printers, a new Brady Safety color palette is added that closely matches Brady B595 and B569 label colors when the Print Mode on the printer is set to Vibrant.
- Rotate labels 180° at print time for i7500 and J7300 printers.
- For the J7300 printer, the Print Mode selection is retained when the file is sent to the Batch Print app.
- Pre-designed label layouts:
- Ability to remove a layout pack.
- Usability improvements.
- Layouts scale better when placed on one zone of a label with multiple zones.
- Some layout packs have colors optimized for the J7300 printer.
- Custom-ordered labels are displayed in the color of the label (instead of always white) for i5300, i7500, and M611 printers.
Issues Fixed
- When printing to a printer on a network, a black box would appear and it would take a couple minutes to print.
- If the first object placed on a label was a graphic of your own, and you rotated that graphic, the label would rotate, but not necessarily other objects added to the label.
- Some user-supplied JPG files would rotate when added to the label.
- The red striped border on a lockout tag printed orange on the J7300 printer.
- Printing on a J7300 printer with PermaShield (JPSL) label supplies resulted in offset printing if the printer driver was not installed.
R 3.33 - July 31, 2024
New Features and Enhancements

Supports new i7500 printer.
-
Time to start printing print jobs (with thousands of labels) is improved on i7500, i5300, i3300, and BBP33 printers.
Issues Fixed

During installation, a component could trigger an alert in anti-virus software. This component is removed.
-
Rotating a color graphic changed the graphic to monochrome black.
-
Printing on label supplies DT-76-813-1, DT-25-816, and XTHT-55 resulted in an error message about syntax.
-

Improved messaging for various situations in which an unknown event error occurred due to an inability to retrieve computer specifications.
-
When using a single-color ribbon on a BradyPrinter S3700 printer, the Print page incorrectly displayed a red icon with a message indicating that the ribbon panel was too short.

- When entering text for a picklist in a template, you can now use the characters _ - = and + (underscore, dash, equals, and plus).
- Labels printed in the wrong orientation to the BradyJet J5000 printer. For example, if you edited a label in portrait orientation, it would print in landscape orientation.
- If you copied and pasted multiple objects, one of which had a cut outline, the cut outline would change to a solid line.
- If you placed a text object within a shape with a cut outline and then attempted to add another text object below it, the new text object would immediately disappear.
- Selecting a shape with a cut outline and then selecting a graphic changed the graphic to have a cut outline.
- When selecting a particular custom label part for the IP600 printer, the image of the label sometimes appeared accurately and sometimes was blank.
- In some circumstances, the software displayed an error message when importing data from a spreadsheet or .csv file.
