Issue
A Brady printer displays "Supply Not Optimized for Printing, the installed supply is not int he printer's Y/B files. The printer will use default values. For optimal printing results, import new Y/B files. Updated Y/B files can be found on www.BradyID.com."

Cause
These printers read a chip on the ribbon and label material in order to determine material properties. The information on the chip must correspond with a part in the printer's internal parts database, however the loaded supply does not match any parts in the printer's current Y/B parts database: What is the YB Parts Database?
Resolution
Update the parts database for your printer.
